This is one of the most famous northern Atlantic, cold-water, wild oyster available today. Although the name is often plagiarized, it has a history as big as its fan club. Naturally growing standard-grade Malpeques have a curvaceous flaked shell that is hardened from growing untamed in the natural elements. The Malpeque size is between 2 ¾” – 3 ¼”. Culled from the glacial depths of Malpeque Bay, this oyster will bring a taste of the maritime provinces to you.
