For the wholesaler, American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. offers several convenient delivery options:

• We deliver Sunday through Saturday to three major seafood markets on the East Coast – the Philadelphia Fish Market in Pennsylvania, the Jessup Fish Market in Maryland, and the Fulton Fish Market in New York City.
• We deliver Monday through Friday to a transfer station in Boston, Massachusetts. Common carriers pick up at this transfer station and deliver to locations across the country such as Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Louisiana, and Colorado.
• We can also drop product at Boston’s Logan Airport Monday through Friday for faster shipping. All shellfish products flying from Logan are packed in insulated shipping containers with plenty of gel ice.

To get started as a wholesale customer, please fill out a credit application completely and then contact a shellfish expert in the sales department at American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. After that initial conversation, we’ll review the credit application, and, when it’s approved, a shellfish expert will set you up with pricing that meets your shipping needs. Welcome aboard!

Restaurant And Retail Market

American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. is happy to provide door-to-door deliveries by truck for restaurants and retail markets in our delivery zones. Trucks are in these areas two to three times a week throughout the year, and our friendly drivers will deliver straight to your cooler.

• The Hartford, Connecticut area
• The Route 95 corridor in Connecticut
• Most locations in Rhode Island.

To start receiving this service, please contact a shellfish expert in sales. We’ll determine whether your location is within our delivery range, and, once you are approved for delivery, you’ll complete a credit application. Once your credit application is approved, we’ll add your restaurant or market to a call list, and a shellfish expert will contact you about your delivery needs. Please note that schedules may change during the year, but always with plenty of notice in advance. Welcome aboard!

If you live close to American Mussel Harvesters, Inc., we are more than happy to serve you. Although we do not have a retail shop, we welcome your visit during business hours (Monday through Friday; 8:00AM to 4:30PM) to pick up an order Call ahead of time to place your order so that it is ready to go when you arrive.

If you are unsure of what you need, a shellfish expert will be more than happy to discuss our product line with you to help you decide which products you want and how much you need. We can also provide you with oyster knives, clam knives and American Mussel Harvesters’ apparel.

If you don’t live nearby but still want to enjoy the freshest shellfish in the country, we have a solution for you. In 2009, American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. began a relationship with PeriShip, a third party shipper that provides excellent rates for overnight shipping across the country.

To use this service, visit our online store or contact one of our shellfish experts, who will gladly give recommendations, set up an order for you, and take your information over the phone. We accept four major credit cards (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover) with a $25 minimum purchase. Order by 2:30 pm, and we’ll get the product to your door by 3:00 pm the next day.
